Genesis

PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya , ECR, Samastipur was founded on 29.08.1981for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on the school was shifted to its own newly constructed building on 29.03.1995.

The new building of the Vidyalaya is situated near Indra Railway Stadium, just one kilometre away from Samastipur Railway Station. It is now two sections school up to Class X and single section in+2 with Science stream.
